(Solved) Magnet Links will not load into customer

Bone: XP
Drench local: ane.34 and one.35
Deluge Server i.34
No plug ins

I had deluge 1.34 running fine. Upgraded to 1.35, all went well and running fine.

This morning time I enabled extractor. Immediately later on I could not load magnet links into deluge, either by double clicking the link or manually adding the link into Drench.
Double click the link, the windows opens, click "add" and naught happens. Manually try to add the link, the aforementioned upshot.

I removed and re installed Deluge i.35 twice, aforementioned problem. I installed version 1.34, same problem.

I removed Deluge and went through the reg making sure to delete any leftovers, aforementioned results. I tin can add torrents only by downloading the torrent file, which are getting harder to find. Driving me basics.

Any help, suggestions gladly taken.

Thanks royhobbs, I am having a similar problem,
If I am using an older version of utorrent and Deluge 1.3.five for magnet links, Drench will non asscociate the magnet links.
Your link to those reg entries do non list one for Drench.

I recently had the aforementioned effect after installing u_torrent. I demand 2 torrent programs because of private trackers that practise not allow DHT.
U_torrent associated itself with magnet links which I didn't want information technology to exercise and the button in the deluge settings doesn't actually do anything.
I scoured the internet for near an hr trying to find a solution because the link in this postal service is dead.

To resolve this issue in 64bit windows open notepad and copy the following text:

Code: Select all

                  Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\magnet] @="URL:MAGNET URI" "URL Protocol"="" [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\magnet\DefaultIcon] @="C:\\Programme Files (x86)\\Deluge\\deluge.exe" [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\magnet\beat out] [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\magnet\shell\open] [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\magnet\shell\open\command] @="C:\\Plan Files (x86)\\Deluge\\deluge.exe \"%one\""

Save as, choose desktop as the location and "all files" as file type and so phone call it something like magazine.reg
once you run the reg file hey presto magnets now working with deluge again.

If you lot take 32bit windows use the following

Code: Select all

                  Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\magnet] @="URL:MAGNET URI" "URL Protocol"="" [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\magnet\DefaultIcon] @="C:\\Program Files\\Drench\\drench.exe" [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\magnet\crush] [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\magnet\shell\open] [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\magnet\shell\open up\control] @="C:\\Program Files\\Drench\\deluge.exe \"%1\""

Works on Windows 10 Pro 64bit as well.
